Taper roller bearings carry heavy radial and axial loads together, which is why they sit in almost every wheel hub, differential pinion and gearbox shaft of a commercial vehicle or tractor. Each bearing is a matched cone (inner ring, rollers and cage) and cup (outer ring).

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between 30205 and 32205 taper bearings?
Both have a 25 mm bore and 52 mm outside diameter. The 32205 is wider (19.25 mm against 16.25 mm), so it carries more load. They are not interchangeable in the same housing unless the width allows it.
Do you supply inch-size taper bearings?
Yes. Along with metric series we stock many inch cone and cup sets, for example 25580/20, 3782/20, 15123/245 and 28985/20. Send us the number stamped on the cone and the cup.
Are cone and cup sold together?
AMB supplies taper bearings as matched cone and cup sets. Always replace both together; a new cone in a worn cup fails early.
