Needle roller bearings

Slim needle roller bearings and cage assemblies in steel, brass and poly cages, for high load where space is tight.

Needle roller bearings use many long, thin rollers. They carry a high radial load in a very small cross-section, so they fit where there is no room for a ball or roller bearing: gearbox idler and constant mesh gears, two-wheeler and tractor transmissions, universal joints and rocker arms.

Needle cage numbers usually describe the size: for example a 253324 cage is for a 25 mm shaft, 33 mm housing bore and 24 mm width. AMB supplies needle cages in steel, brass and poly cage materials.

Frequently asked questions

How do I read a needle bearing number like 253324?

For most needle cage assemblies the number is shaft diameter, outer (housing) diameter and width in mm: 253324 is 25 x 33 x 24 mm. Some numbers follow a maker code, so send us the old part if unsure.
